Promotional codes

From the left-hand menu, click Operations, then Promotional codes. Click + Create on the right and enter the description of the promotional code.

Promotional code options

When creating a promotional code, you can choose from several options using the dropdown menu:

• Multiple-use: A code that can be used multiple times during a specified period.
• Single-use: A code that can only be used once per user.
• Apply automatically: A multiple-use code that is automatically applied during a defined period without the user having to enter it.
• Apply to postal codes: A promotional code that applies only to specific postal codes. These must be entered in the corresponding section.
• Batch of single-use codes: Create a list of single-use codes, such as 100 different codes, each of which can only be used once.

Applicable modules / promotional code type

A promotional code can be applied to one or more of the following modules on the Endorphine platform:

• Daily Activity
• Season Pass
• Rental Equipment
• Lodging
• Package

Discount amount

You can define the discount as:

• Dollar amount (e.g., $10 discount)
• Percentage discount (e.g., 10% discount)

Code selection

When creating the code, you can choose whether the code will be:

• Random: The system automatically generates a unique code.
• Admin-selected: You manually enter the code you want to assign.

Active period

Define the period during which the promotional code will be valid. This includes:

• Start date: The date on which the code becomes active.
• End date: The date on which the code expires.
  

Requirements

You can specify different requirements that users must meet to use the promotional code:

• Minimum purchase amount ($): The participant must spend at least this amount to apply the code.
• Minimum item quantity: The participant must purchase at least this number of items to use the code.
• Maximum item quantity: The participant cannot purchase more than this number of items to benefit from the code.
• Valid Quad card: The participant must have a valid Quad card associated with their profile.
• Combine with other promotions: Define whether this code can be combined with other promotions (Yes/No).

Additional criteria

You can apply additional criteria to further customize the use of promotional codes:

• Apply to specific products: Select the specific products to which the code applies.
• Apply to specific dates: Define specific dates on which the code can be used (e.g., during a special promotion).
• Apply to specific time slots: Limit the use of the code to specific time slots.

Apply a promotional code or gift card when creating an order

When creating an order, you can apply a promotional code if this feature has been configured in your operations settings.

You can also add a gift card to the order and apply its value to the amount due.
