Payment options when creating an order

When creating an order, three payment options are available to manage the invoice according to the customer’s situation:

  • Pay in full
  • Partial payment (deposit with balance)
  • Pay later

These options allow you to adapt payment management to your operations and your customers’ needs.

Pay in full

The Pay in full option allows the invoice to be paid immediately.

You can complete the payment in different ways:

  • Send a secure payment link to the customer.
  • Apply the payment directly to the order through the payment link.
  • Send the payment to a connected terminal, such as Square or Nuvei.

Once the payment is completed, the invoice is considered paid.

Partial payment (deposit with balance)

The Partial payment option allows you to collect a deposit while keeping a remaining balance on the invoice.

The same payment methods are available:

  • Secure payment link
  • Payment applied directly to the order
  • Payment through a connected terminal (Square or Nuvei)

Note: Multiple partial payments can be applied to the same invoice until the balance is fully paid. The customer can also choose to pay the remaining balance in full.

Pay later

The Pay later option allows you to create the order without making an immediate payment.

In this case:

  • The order is given the Created status.
  • It is kept for 30 days following its creation.
  • If no payment, partial or full, is made during this period, the order will be automatically cancelled.

Tip: The Partial payment option is ideal for collecting a deposit when making a reservation while allowing the customer to pay the remaining balance later.
